Plan for July 4, 2012

The gala celebration of the Butte-Silver Bow Courthouse centennial will cover five days of events culminating in the official re-dedication of the Courthouse on July 3, 2012. Other events in the planning stages include:

  • A box social - bidding on themed, sponsored lunches
  • An old-fashioned ice-cream social
  • High society ball
  • Speeches, re-enactments, and tours (Teddy and Franklin Roosevelt, Eamon de Valera, and others)
  • Freedom Fest events on July 3 including fireworks
  • Formal re-dedication and Parade
